Re: Site will be read only from Saturday 27th April

Is there any recommendation on a migration path from Roger's/Libmaple core to the STM32 core?
Is that an 1:1 exercise, especially when talking various ..duino libraries which work fine with Roger's core?

Re: 50 Hz notch filter

A notch filter is a filter which cuts off certain frequency, ie 50Hz in your case. When sampling an analog input with 1kSamples/second and passing the data via the 50Hz notch filter (it is a simple 8taps fir afaik) you get 1kSamples/second output data, where the 50Hz +/- few Hz of the spectral conte...

That looks like an 100n 1210 for 25V or 50V. The ceramic multilayers are max 22u, afaik, and more bulkier.

Re: 50 Hz notch filter

A "50Hz notch" filter needs an input in form of "analog" data coming into the filter at certain sample rate.

For example

ADC_1kSamples_per_sec -> notch_filter -> DAC_pwm_1kSamples_per_sec

Where are your input data then?

Re: micros() curiosity

There is a free running 32bit counter inside the mcu counting @clock freq. You may use it instead micros() with much increased resolution.

Re: UECIDE with Roger's core and latest gcc 7

Converting binary files - could you explain what it does? A conversion of a .bin into an initialized C const array? I did it with "xxd -i APP_sketch.bin" during the "execution off the external sram" exercise :roll:

Re: UECIDE with Roger's core and latest gcc 7

FIY- an another build. Note: Mind under Win7 the "Documents" Matt refers to means "My Documents". The UECIDE cuts off the "My", it seems.. With the default settings your sketches folders and libraries folders reside in: C:\Users\XXXX\My Documents\UECIDE\Blinker_sketch C:\Users\XXXX\My Documents\UECI...
